We may have recently celebrated our one year anniversary but there are still projects around the B&B that need to be completed and we are always working hard to make the house look and feel "fresh" and well maintained.  Obviously bigger projects need the house to be free of guests so we don't disturb them with loud power tools, lots of dust, and the smell of fresh paint.

This weekend was one of those weekends when we were able to cross a big project off the list...painting the stairwell.  So adding color meant taking our white stairwell and making it a light golden beige (officially "Navajo White").  The picture doesn't do it justice but the difference is significant...the stairwell feels much "warmer" now.  It doesn't hurt that Paula is a very good painter either.
